In a recent cricket match organized by BluOne on Saturday, 1st February 2020 at SCG 2, Noida, the previous match winners, Royal Strikers, led by Paramveer Singh, won again.
The day opened with a trainer-led, warm-up session. Every player put in their effort on their stretches, bends, and twists, which helped play a great game. The attendees were grouped into two teams: Blu Lightning (led by Jitender Rawat) and Royal Strikers (led by Paramveer Singh). The day was sunny, and Royal Blu Strikers won the toss and elected to bat.
The Strikers started steadily with their opening pair of Sarvesh Panchal and Ajeet building a partnership of 27 runs. The Lightning bowlers put all their efforts however they couldn’t manage the breakthroughs as regularly as they needed. Credit must go to the top scorer and the man of the match Sarvesh Panchal, who kept chipping away at the target with his cuts and lofts. His partnership with Dilip of 27 runs, gave the match a turning point.

In response, Jitender Rawat, captain of team Lightning, opened with Varun. Though they started with great spirit, Jitender got out (lbw) in 4 runs in 5 balls, by Sarvesh. After the first setback, their inning did not see any partnership, as they must have expected. Due to the regular strikes by Strikers, Lightning could only manage a score of 34 for the loss of 8 wickets and lost the match in 8.3 overs. Though a tough match, Lightning showed a great sportsman spirit, however, at the end of the day Strikers came out as champions.
